Jump to RecipeWhat is Marius Fabre Marseille Laundry Soap Flakes
It is made with sunflower oil, an oil with many wonderful properties:
- Very rich in oleic acid
- A composition very similar to that of olive oil, therefore very nourishing for the skin
- Rich in Omega 9 and vitamin E, oleic sunflower oil is a natural antioxidant
- A more durable oil
- French and European origin
- The seeds of this sunflower are entirely refined in France, 200 km from Salon de Provence
- Net weight with packaging: 750g
How it is made
Thanks to the saponification process, the beautiful sunflower oil turns into soap with foaming and cleaning properties. The solid soap is then cut into pieces for the curing process. When the curing process is over, it is then shredded into these beautiful flakes and package into biodegradable paper bags.
- Check out these videos on how it is made in the traditional method.
Composition of Marius Fabre Marseille laundry Soap Flakes
- 100% vegetable oils (Oleic sunflower oil, coconut oil)
- No dye, fragrance-free, no preservatives and therefore it is environmental friendly
- Without chemical additives
- Without palm oil
- Soap 30% and more (Sodium Sunflowerseedate, Sodium Cocoate)
- Also contains: Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide
Note: The glycerine in the soap flakes has not been added, it is the one that is naturally present in vegetable oil. After a 10 day cooking period and many rinses, only a small amount remains. Authentic Marseille soap, when it is made according to traditional processes, is actually glycerine-free. āGlycerineā is, however, listed in Marius Fabre soapsā ingredients because some traces remain. The new cosmetic regulation requires all ingredients, even in small quantities, to be stated in the list of ingredients.

Most people I talk to have no idea that scalp therapy shampoos for fast hair growth (of course with no sulfates, no parabens, no DEA) are a thing. We all now may have longer hair and achieve more possibilities. Certainly worth looking into it.
When you’re assessing alopecia, damaged hair, avoiding skin disorders, hair growth, hair and scalp care normally, very similar rules become relevant.
Generally, you should try to avoid hair products and treatments that contain chemicals like parabens, DEA and sulfates.
What is beneficial for your hair is beneficial for your skin as well.
Obviously the content here is so accurate for various reasons. It stays away from the accustomed pitfalls and errors most fall into: buying bad alternatives. Thank you!
