Notes
- To know if you are sensitive to the oils, it is preferable to run a patch test before the application of this roll-on recipe.
- If you don’t have a measuring cylinder or pipette to measure the tamanu oil, you can top it up after dropping the essential oils into the roller. Please be sure to don’t overfill the bottle. You will need to let some space for the roller cap to put back without overflowing the oils.
Patch test
Before you use it, please note that essential oil is a concentrated liquid extracted from different plants. A 100% pure essential oil is very powerful and potent, and everyone reacts to essential oils differently. To know that if you are allergic or sensitive to the oil, you have to run a patch test before you start using it in the desired area. How to run a patch test? Apply the roll-on to your inner elbow, cover with a bandage and leave on overnight. If there are no signs of irritation the following morning, the oil is considered safe to use for you.

Bottom line
If you have a serious ance-prone problem kind of skin, it is preferable for you to look for a dermatologist to check up for the cause and provide you a professional treatment. This alternative natural-aid essential oil treatment is to tackle a small acne problem. I found it useful for my mixed skin. To care of your facial skin properly, you need to:
- clean your skin daily
- shampooing your hair regularly and keeping it out of your face
- not squeezing or picking pimples, which spreads bacteria and excess oil
- not touching your face when you have acne
While there are a lot of acne treatments out there either by the professional or natural-aid treatment that can treat acne problems efficiently, but there is no 100% treatment method proven to prevent acne. Therefore, it is also important to stay stress-free, have a good diet, and a proper face cleaning routine.
Last but not least, I hope you have an acne-free clean face everyday!
